Sad news this week… Your Scrapbook Stash is closing but they are going out with a bang.  They are having some fun challenges going on right now and I had to take a stab at it! :)

Happy Halloween Tributes!!

Okay so I am obsessed with The Hunger Games trilogy.  If you haven’t read the books, you should and if you had read them then you know how awesome they are.  I starting reading them this month and have already each book twice! Can’t wait for the movie to come out in March!!! I can’t believe it is 5 months away. 

To show my obsessiveness with this book, I carved a mockingjay into my pumpkin tonight.  I had a couple problems with keeping the shape so I added some toothpicks.  Check it out… turned out pretty good I think.

Emma Fronda gave me quite a challenge. She wanted me to use her all-time favorite scrapbook elements - flowers, laces, birds, bling, mists and metal embellishments. This definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone to use all of these on one project especially the metal embellishments but I think I pulled it all together. What do you think?

… Where magic happens

As soon as I saw the sketch at Sketchy Thursdays, I knew what pictures to use.  I took so many pics of the rides and scenery while at DisneyWorld but haven’t been able to figure out how to use them.  I managed to get 10 pictures on one layout!!!! I used the red, white, and blue theme for Scrap Our Stash July challenge.  The background paper had black mickey ears but I used royal blue smooch to give them a blue tint.  I am also going to enter this in the Sketches in Thyme open sketch challenge.
