Welcome to Create it Green’s Earth Day Blog Hop!! Thanks so much for joining us!
If you just happened by this blog and didn't realize a blog hop was taking place, please go back to Create it Green and start the hop. You won't want to miss all the Earth Day Inspiration or the amazing prizes from our generous sponsors! Make sure you leave a comment on each blog on the hop since winners will be drawn from the comments!!
Here at A LITTLE DASH OF… I will be giving out a prize of my own!!! I will be drawing a name at random on Monday. To win, you just have to do two things… One be a follower and Two comment on my post!!! And because I will be having a new post every day, you can be entered up to FOUR times… that’s right I said FOUR!! The prize is a special GREEN kit full of vintage, recycled, and repurposed items that are sure to add some fun to any project. Check it out… I lost count at 70 items!!!!!!
Now on to my project… I recently bought a cute top from Target and when I pulled off the tag it caught my eye. It was super colorful and I thought, “hey I could use this as an embellishment!” So here I used it to describe my staff a couple of years ago. We did a crazy scavenger hunt through town and they had so much ENERGY… So here’s a tip, before you toss out all those tags from your new clothes, you may find something worth hanging on to!! Forever 21 one has a pretty great one with a pink and yellow flower! Also the lettering is on the awesome recycled paper from Green Field Paper Company. Check them out.
SIDE NOTE: This is also my submission for the May Guest Design Challenge at Sketchy Thursdays! Shout out to Sketchy Thursdays!
So what do I do to be GREEN? I reuse and repurpose as much as I can. I hate to throw anything away.
This blog hop will run from today, April 22nd until Sunday, April 26th, midnight PST. We will be drawing for winners on April 27.
