…rollin’ with my homies

Hi Hi!! Friday I got my shipment of 6 new glimmer mists… I am new to glimmer mist and couldn’t wait to use some of them. This is another adorable picture of my godson, Beau to add to his photo album that I am making to document his first year! My bestie sent me this picture after he rolled over all by himself for the first time. He looks so cute.

The prompt came from Scrap That Baby. I stumbled upon there blog last weekend when they were hosting a blog hop. The prompt was Step by Step… showing some baby movement. It also caught my eye cause of the reference to NKOTB! I love New Kids!! I used the really fun sketch from Sketchy Thursdays because as soon as I saw the circles I knew I could pull out my new glimmer mist to help make the circles!!!

… too cute for word!!!!!!!

I love this picture of my godson… he is so adorable!!!! I struggled though to come up with a title and then it came to me.  I had a lot of fun with this one… I used some recycled magazine pages rolled up to form a strip along the bottom.  I think it makes a cool affect plus is makes me happy to used some recycled items on my layout.  This is my submission for the Sketchy Thursdays guest design team challenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

… Sketchy Thursdays is Too Much

Here is my submission for Sketchy Thursdays and for How Much Is Too Much.  I started with this weeks great sketch and as I was putting it together realized I could totally meet the How Much Is Too Much challenge too! These are more pictures of my darling godson!!!  He is too cute for words.  Hope you enjoy!!!

P.s. I saw THE OTHER GUYS tonight and loved it.  Of course I am a huge Will Ferrell fan so I might be a bit biased. It’s the weekend of movies… I plan to go see INCEPTION tomorrow.  I’m excited cause I heard good things!!!

… Proud Love

I took a little break from scrappin’ this weekend cause it was my birthday!!! Yeah!!!!!  Last night feeling very productive, I got through 2 layouts!!!! 

The first is for From Screen 2 Scraps.  The challenge is to use the movie poster from Juno.  You need to think stripes, handmade title, and new baby’s!! Here is my layout that I call Proud Papa!  I had a lot of fun with this one.  I think my favorite part is the green ribbon around the blue matt… I was thinking Paulie Bleeckers headband from the poster!!

For the second layout, I was inspired by the Scrap That Poetry challenge using the Edgar Alan Poe Poem Annabelle Lee.  I loved the line “we loved with a love that is way more than love”.  I thought it was perfect for this next layout.

I am back off to my craft station to see if I can work on another layout tonight!!!
