I am taking a stab at the BlueMoonScrapbooking.com January Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch:
Of course in true Faye fashion, I had to flip the sketch. The background paper is American Crafts and I have had it for like forever. It always seemed like a very random color scheme but I was trying to challenge myself to do something with it. I think it turned out pretty good!!!
I think the quote is one of my new faves!!!
Pin ItI like to think I am really good with music lyrics. In fact, people are usually surprised how many songs I can remember the words to. This is one of those songs that although I sing it and know most of the words, I always manage to mess up part of it. The line in the song is “Laughing and a running” and for some reasons (probably because the line before has to do with playing), I always sing “laughing and a playing”. This week I decided to use my special lyrics to this song. Check out the challenge at Scrap It With A Song
This is also my entry for the pagerize challenge at Scrap Our Stash .
Until next time!!!
Pin ItThis little guy is too cute. I can not believe he will be one in less than a month. It is crazy!!! For this layout I was inspired by the Sketchy Thursday weekly sketch as well as the challenge of using strips on the page by ScrapFIT. These two were the perfect marriage to make this layout hope you like
Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
Last year on this day, I was in LA out in the rain protesting NBC pushing Conan out of his 11:35 time slot. Now Coco is back on the air and I am back to laughing regularly between the hours of 11pm and 12am. Are there any other Conan fans out there in the scrapbooking world?
This week at Scrap It With A Song, we are using inspiration from Sara Evan’s song Born to Fly. This is one of my faves. It was hard to narrow down what lyric I was gonna go with but when I saw this picture of my bf and her guys I knew that the “I love my folks” line was perfect! Although it is my design team layout for Scrap It With A Song, I was able to incorporate the Guest Designer Challenge from Sketchy Thursdays. Here is the sketch for this challenge:
And here is what I did with it:
Hope you all have a happy Monday!! Take care!
