… dead camera

Oh it is a sad night… my camera died tonight :( I had hoped to show fun pictures of some of the projects I have been up to and some of the goodies I made for my etsy shop but nothing :(

Here is something I created for the Scrap It With a Song challenge… this week is Born to be wild.  Great song and so easy to learn the lyrics too!!  Cutie Patootie!!  Hope you will give it a shot!!!  Well I hope to borrow my sisters camera Sunday and then maybe I can get a few new pictures up!! Until then!!!!

... i obviously can't spell

So I have been exposed as a non-speller. I have been suffering from the lack of correct spelling since I was a child. It was something that in my adult life I had thought I overcame and then today when i was cropping my next layout, i discovered that i am still inflicted. Let's see if you notice... it is pretty obvious.

This is my entry for These are a Few of My Favorite... Fictional Characters. I couldn't just pick one so I picked 9 and that was even hard. There were quite a few that almost made the cut! Here is what I picked:

1. Anne of Green Gables ( I love the PBS Movie and Megan Follows!!!)
2. The Office Cast (I adore these characters and like to think I am a little bit Michael and a little bit Jim!)
3. Marshall & Lily (from How I Met Your Mother)
4. Hermey (I have a collection of Hermey stuff that I put out every Christmas time. This is my favorite kid christmas movie!!!)
5. PACEY Witter!!!!!! (By far the best character Joshua has ever played and I love me some Joshua!!!)
6. Gilly!!! (This is a SNL character that is completely ridiculous but always makes me laugh)
7. Conando (Conan's mexican soap opera alterego... Si Conando)
8. ET (Who could not love this little alien!!!)
9. DEXTER Morgan (My favorite friendly serial killer. It seems weird to root for a serial killer but every week I do!)

… that special thing

Just when I thought things were slowing down at work… I remember that October brings inspections.  My job is always changing.  Some months I feel like all I do is administrative tasks but for the month of October I feel like all I do is inspect college residences’ with fire and environmental health & safety officers to make sure the students are safe.  If you just got bored reading this… IMAGINE how boring it is to do :) LOL!!!!!!!  In reality it’s a good thing cause I work to make sure students are safe but boy I can’t wait ‘til November!!

BEHIND THE LAYOUT: Almost four years ago, my bestie got married!!! I have had the pictures laying around trying to get inspired to scrap her magical day. When I saw the sketch at Inspired Blueprints (which I just stumbled upon a few days ago) I knew it would be a great way for me to add multiple photos to one layout… I have probably 50 pictures from her wedding AT LEAST. I tried to use some of the important moments on this one layout.  I also used the song inspiration from Scrapping the Music for the title… THAT SPECIAL THING.  The song this week is flying without wing by westlife… I have to be honest I had never heard this song before but it was great!!! Hope you like it!!
