…conference & relaxing time

For the past 5 days I have been at a conference at Stanford University.  Beautiful campus but too much walking… i am beat!  It was nice to get some down time though.  When I am at home I can do whatever and usually find myself at my craft station 90% of the time.  Here though I was limited to what I brought with me which was not much.  I had my computer so I spent a lot of time working on svg files.  Here is a sample of one of the files I did

… in her shoes

My cat Rory loves to get in my shoes. As soon as I get home from work and kick off my shoes she jumps in them. It is the strangest thing!! While I was in my closet trying to pick out my fav’s for the These Are a Few Of My Favorite Things challenge on Favorite Shoes, I looked over and caught Rory in my purple flip flops. I couldn’t help but take the opportunity to scrap from her perspective. So my favorite shoes are any pair my baby decides to lay on and it seems all my shoes are her favorite. Hope you enjoy!!!

... seventeen stronger

When one of my RA's left our staff of sixteen, we were forced to pick someone new. I didn't want the RA's to think that we were replacing the last person but instead adding someone new to our crew. We then became a staff of seventeen... strongER!! Here is my thoughts on the HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH challenge!! I had fun but have been having some technical problems so I hope they will except it a touch late!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My title is 17 letters long and there are 43 items on the page (not including the 17 letters). There are 5 rub-on's, 8 buttons, 9 pieces of paper, 17 pictures, 1 flower, a W, a bingo piece, and marker (on number 17)!!!!!!!!!!!
