… Happy Happy!!!!!

Tonight I sat down to a picture of my god son with this gorgeous smiles on his face. It’s one of his first and he just looks so happy… and that’s when I decided I would use this picture for the Scrapping the Music Shiny Happy People Challenge! To get some inspiration I gently lifted Natalie Elphinestone’s layout for the XOXO Challenge 11. They have an awesome sponsor this month, Lucky Girl Crafts. I hope I did both challenges proud.

Off to bed!!!!!! Tomorrow is my Friday and I am super excited to have five days off for my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!

… monkey business

Wow… I can’t believe I got four layouts done of little baby beau this weekend!!! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got to pull out my cricut for this one.  I made a monkey svg in inkscape and then cut them on my cricut!!! I had so much fun with these guys. 

This is my entry for XOXO challenge blog sponsored by Lucky Girl Crafts!  A super adorable kit is up for grabs.  For this lift, I used Sarah Webb’s layout. I loved the shadow and butterflies.  I hope I did her justice.  It’s my first time playing and I am really excited to join in!!!!!! Check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mister Butt Wiper

This is my take on the From Screen 2 Scrap challenge!! My best friend and her husband are in month five of having their little guy.  My gift to them is to scrapbook his first year.  I hear Ken has become the official butt wiper and thought that could be a cute page!  Hope you like!!!

... I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it!!!

It is so hard to get back into the swing of things after having h1n1. It is amazing how quickly you can get OUT of the habit of doing things... like posting on my blog. Sorry to neglect you blog!

Anyway... I have exciting news!!! Starting in September I will be joining the Scrap It With A Song Design Team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray Hooray!!!!!! Can't wait to get started!! Be sure to come by and check it out!!!!

... handmade embellies!

Hi all... long time no blogging. While I was attending my relaxing conference two weeks ago, I was exposed to the H1N1 virus.... oh hooray!!!!! :( So needless to say, I have been sick and not really up for crafting or blogging. This weekend though I got back into the swing of things.

ScrapFIT has a challenge going on using 1-3 handmade embellishments. I made the flowers on this layout. I love making these flowers... I use them on everything!!!!!!!! I try to use lots of different types of fabric to get cool affects. The glimmery blue fabric I got for super cheap cause it was a remanent piece!Hope you like!!!!!!
